April possesses more than 20 years’ leadership, management and mentoring experience in Asia, from regional start-ups to established multinationals across both the corporate and NGO sectors. April’s training coaching skill is honed through corporate experience with multi-nationals such as IBM, Honeywell, PA Consulting Group, and Daimler-Benz, as well as with entrepreneurial start-ups in the online education sector.
As an Executive Coach, she works with senior managers and career individuals throughout Asia, including in association with management training and change management organizations Bridge Partnership (www.bridge-partnership.com) and Tirian International (www.tirian.com). Recent clients include Mercedez Benz China, Cargill, and Keppel Industries.
In the area of leadership development, April has helped design and launch programs in both corporate and non-profit sectors. Recent project includes set-up of Zigen China Rural Training Center under the auspice of UNESCO to develop Village Leaders, Women Leaders, and Rural School Teachers and Principals. Over the past few years, she has facilitated training of over 1,000 participants.
April holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Yale University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She is certified as an Integral Coach with New Ventures West -- a well-recognised development organization based in California -- and just completed one-year program “The Art and Mastery of Living Your Authentic Life”. She is currently in the process of securing accreditation from the International Coach Federation (ICF). April is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, has worked and travelled extensively in Asia, and now resides in Singapore.
